Two decades leading transformation inside corporate organizations, earned an MBA, studied human-centered design, VP title, Fortune 500 positions. You name it, I checked all the boxes to climb the ladder. Only to find myself spinning on the hamster wheel. Depleted and lacking the creative flow I needed to influence change and impact in a world shifting faster and faster.

One curious question sparked it all: There has to be a better way.

That simple question started six year journey as an entrepreneur and corporate transformation consultant. Studying great leaders, deepening my work in organizational transformation while also tapping into somatics and neuroscience to unlock my own hidden genius.

During that time, I’ve helped companies like Gap Inc., Sephora, Akamai and American Family Insurance turn purpose into an operational win.

But the real lessons and impact didn’t come on the laptop, or in zoom meetings, or your typical strategy sessions.

I learned to lead without certainty when I started looking outside myself and my tech for better answers. That is where I found the deeper curiosity needed to spark the kind of ah-ha’s that helped a giant retailer reinvent their entire leadership approach (hello Gap, Inc.).

As a consultant and entrepreneur, I learned how to lead before the path was fully visible.

I learned how to sense what's coming next and guide my clients to move toward it without waiting for certainty to arrive first.

I navigated a complete identity shift from corporate executive to founder and strategic advisor, building a multi-six-figure consulting practice while reinventing myself professionally and personally.

I didn't make those shifts based only on data, research and optimization. I made them by learning how to step out of chaotic distraction and into curiosity, using nature as a compass when the path wasn't clear.

Growing up on a farm teaches you something about facing the unknown that no corporate environment can replicate.

Farming isn't about having all the answers. It's about reading what's coming, planning for the pivot and trusting a deeper intelligence to guide you through what you can't yet see.

That's exactly what business is demanding of leaders right now.

As a kid, I spent hours walking fields, moving through the woods, staring up at stars. That was my thinking laboratory. I just didn't have language for it yet.

Then I climbed the corporate ladder and traded that laboratory for the inbox, the meeting room, the city life. I stopped asking questions and started executing answers. My curiosity quietly disappeared. And so did my best thinking.

It took hitting that wall to remember what had always worked. A hike in Sedona. A walk through Central Park. Feet in the grass. Space to actually think.

Not because nature is peaceful. Because nature is what turns on our deeply human curiosity. And curiosity is the one thing no AI can replicate, no framework can manufacture, and no meeting room can produce.

So I’m going back to the laboratory to find answers for the future - and I’m taking you with me.
