Your next move is already in you.

For the woman standing at the edge of a new world. This is where you find your way forward.

Step out into nature &
gain the clarity you crave.

You’re standing at the edge of something new.

Right where the excitement for what could be, meets:

“Holy shit, how do I make that happen?”

This edge feels different than every one that came before it:

  • The stakes feel higher than ever

  • Crafting the perfect plan isn't working because where you’re going next doesn’t fit on someone else’s map or expectations

  • There’s something deeper happening and a new you is ready to emerge

That’s why I created The Forest’s Edge.

A nature-led practice that brings you back to your own wisdom, so you can find your way forward.

Hi, I’m Marissa,

your wayfinding guide

After 22 years swept up in the hustle of Fortune 500 consulting, I took real time away. One month unplugged from work and plugged into everyday moments in nature. I did it because I needed a break, but I ended up finding something far more valuable than rest.

I found that nature unlocked something that my corporate strategic planning practices rarely did: a deep trust in my own direction.

So I started sharing it with other women. Testing a hypothesis that something unique and eye opening happens when we take our biggest questions out into nature. I learned that what worked for me, also helped other women find the answers they need to move forward in the face of change.

Now I’m on a mission to help 1,000 women (in 2027) find their way forward by stepping into nature and remembering what it feels like to trust herself again.

I’d love for you to be one of them!

I wasn't entirely sure what two hours outdoors was going to accomplish. Turns out, quite a lot.

I'd gone in with a business question on my mind. And at some point, I realized I'd turned it into a pretty binary choice in my head. There was option A and option B, and I was trying to figure out which one was right. But as I sat and walked in nature, and Marissa guided our thinking, I started seeing all new possibilities in between. Maybe I didn't actually have to choose between A and B. Maybe I'd just stopped looking for C, D and E. I came away from this experience with more clarity about the question I'd brought with me, but also with a reminder I want to hang onto: Sometimes thinking harder isn't what gets us unstuck. Sometimes we need to change the conditions we're thinking in.

Thank you, Marissa, for getting me out of my office and giving me the space to see something I wasn't seeing before. Recent Client

Meet Me at the Forest’s Edge

Your life has edges too. When a role is ending or when a new business comes into focus.

You know you’re at one when you find yourself sitting in the resistance between two worlds. You’re ready for what comes next with no clear map forward.

Edges feel uncertain and loud, especially in a world so ready to tell women what to do and how to do it. So we start looking for answers outside ourselves.

Laptops down. Phones away. Step outside & find your way forward.

The Forest’s Edge is a nature-based practice that brings you back to the one source that already knows your next move.

Nature opens something in us that no laptop ever will: a deeper wisdom that only shows up when we step out of the daily grind.

That’s what The Forest’s Edge is designed to do.

It’s modeled on a place in nature where two worlds meet. Where the forest meets the meadow is the most chaotic part of the landscape, and also where the most growth happens.

Which crossroads are you standing at?

Every woman comes to the Forest's Edge with a different story, but they all walk away with the same thing: trusting herself again.
